For the last
35 years, I have collected Canadian coins. After lots of
trade and purchases, my coin collection was almost complete.
Only rares coins are missing. To continue to collect coins,
other choices that I had, was to collect other countries
coins, which is not interesting due that too many coins
exists. I also discovered a book called MAJOR COINS VARIETIES
made by Hans Zoell.
I then noticed
that my coins had some differences from other coins of the
same year. So I began looking for thoses coins and they
are still quite easy to find due that not everybody are
aware of. Sadly Hans Zoel stop writing this kind of book
in mid 70's. Whith help of friends and by spending lots
of time looking and searching coins, I finally wrote a book.
The first edition was released on February 28th 2003 and
now the fift edition of
the Book of Canadian Coins and Their
Varieties is now available.
